Mary C. Jackowski
With an eclectic and classic combination of recycled glass and metals, local Michigan artist, Mary Catherine Jackowski creates unique creations of decor and fashion.
Through trial and error, this self-taught artist, who was given a kiln and checked out a book from the library on Kiln-Formed Glass, has developed her art into what it is today. Using 100% recycled glass, she then goes through the process of cleaning and sorting the glass. She then breaks it by cutting it with nipper pliers and sometimes cuts it on her wet saw. It is then free formed fused in her kiln, then she uses each piece for her various and completely original designs.
MOHLOM displays it’s beautifully designed collages of color, line and dimension.
From Broken to Beautiful, each piece is created by hand with intention; ready to fulfill both function and art. Unique, One-of-a-Kind, Recycled, Local, Hand-Crafted Creations, with beautiful thought behind every piece.
Soli Deo Gloria,
More of HIM, less of me,
